Galveston Pilates operates by appointment only. Appointments must be made in person, through email, or via phone or text. Certain workshops may be signed up for online.
Cancellation Policy
Cancellations made within 24 hours no-shows will be charged full price,. This policy includes any classes, workshops, or other events that may occur. Rescheduling for a different day counts as a cancellation. If you wish to reschedule on the same day, and time is available, then there will be no cancellation fee.
All students are expected to be on time, with no more than 5 minutes early or late. If you are running more than 15 minutes late, (notified or not) it is at the discretion of the instructor as to whether they will teach you.
If you have a unique situation which might make it difficult for you to be on-time, please disclose this to the studio so we can work something out! Otherwise, excessive tardiness, cancellations, or no-shows will result in termination if persisting beyond 2 months, and you will incur a termination fee equal to the value of any remaining sessions/credits in your account.
Payment and Refund Policies
All appointments must be pre-paid. Credit/Debit Card is preferred, however cash will be accepted. A valid debit/credit card must be kept on file at all times. No exceptions.
Refunds will only be allowed on unused session packages within a 14-day period. Introductory packages expire 30 days from purchase. All session packages have a maximum expiration date of 180 days from purchase regardless of status.
Workshops must be prepaid, and can only be refunded with 72-hour notice.
Sessions, packages, workshops, and classes are not transferable.
Dress Code
Proper workout attire must be worn at all times. Shorts must cover without any gaping (Seriously, wear appropriate undergarments. It’s hard to avert your eyes when you’re a teacher!). Clothing must be reasonably fitted to the body so the instructor can see the student’s posture and movement. No loose or flowing clothing will be allowed on any equipment due to safety concerns. Grip socks are not required, but encouraged.
Please maintain good personal hygiene. Dirty or smelly students will not be allowed to work out. Feet must be clean, or you must wear socks with grip. Socks are available for purchase if needed.
Studio Etiquette
Be on time! It’s your hour, and you want to get the most out of it, so being late robs you of a thorough session.
If you use it, clean it. Keeping the studio clean makes it a pleasant place for everyone to use!
Help keep the studio organized and tidy. Put your equipment back to neutral, store any weights, balls, etc. so others won’t trip on them.
Non-Resident Policies
Non-residents must pre-pay for all sessions, no exception. Refunds are only allowed as studio credit, which expire after 60 days. Cancellations require a SEVEN DAY notice. No discounts or package rates will be offered. Class drop-ins are not allowed, and you may only purchase private sessions. To be considered a local resident and qualify for local discount, you must reside in Galveston County at least part-time and can provide proof of permanent residency. Renting an Airbnb for a season is considered non-resident.
